Denise Watzel works as a project manager for Omnitech, a software engineering firm in Sioux Falls.  She graduated from South Dakota State University with a degree in Computer Science.  After working in various technical support roles, she moved into project management and spent many years leading data center, network, and telephony projects for HSBC and Capital One.  She gained her Master's Degree in Management from Colorado Technical University in 2002.  In 2011, she earned her PMP certification, and in 2017 gained the PMI-ACP.  Most recently, she obtained the DASM (Disciplined Agile Scrum Master Certification).  Denise is a life-long learner with a passion for connecting people and technology to achieve customer goals.

Denise resides in Sioux Falls, SD, and is married to Steve.  She has two grown children, Ben and Alysha, and has two grandchildren, Emery and Noah.  She enjoys reading, golf, travel, and spending time with friends.
