CoP: Change Management

Join us for our next Communities of Practice (CoP) session for the PMI Sioux Empire Chapter! Hear from one of our own members on several schools of thought on change management. This will provide discussion on delivery methods, how change effects employees, and how culture plays a significant role in successful execution of change.

Presenter: Andrea (Miller) Smith, PMP, MBA, MS 

Andrea serves as Senior Project Manager for McGough Construction Sioux Falls Office, a large commercial general contractor that provides development, construction and management services throughout the region.  Prior to her current role she served Augustana University as the Director of Project Management and Facility Services where she managed a large staff of essential workers through the COVID 19 pandemic, led the completion of the campus master plan for physical improvements in support of the 2030 strategic plan, and provided owners representation for the first major construction phase of the master plan.  She founded SoDak HVAC LLC with her husband in 2020 which is a residential and light commercial heating and cooling company.  She thrives on her primary roles of boy mom, wife, and dog cuddler.
